Established in February 2006, WinterComms are a boutique communications company currently contracted to the Australian Building Codes Board for the provision of editorial and advertising sales services for their publications Australian Building Regulation Bulletin print magazine and ABR Online e-newsletter.

FMA Online is an online publication distributed by Facility Management Association of Australia Ltd to its membership and prospect database on a monthly basis.
The e-newsletter is closely integrated with the FMA Australia website at www.fma.com.au, and provides a valuable and timely industry information service to the facilities management industry and related property industry sectors.

Facility Perspectives (2007 - 2009)
Facility Perspectives is a quarterly magazine distributed nationally to FMA Australia members and sold through subscription and selected technical bookshops. Facility Perspectives is published by Executive Media, and endorsed by FMA Australia.
WinterComms provided editorial services and articles to the magazine.

FMA Australia Annual Report (2007)
FMA Australia publish its Annual Report for the benefit of its members and industry practitioners.
WinterComms assisted in the process with collating the source material, editing to exacting standards, facilitating the review process, and assisting production in developing the printed result.

FM Action Agenda Annual Report (2006 - 2007)
The FM Action Agenda was an Australian Government - FM industry initiative to promote sustainable industry recognition and growth. Having completed its tenure in August 2008, the FM Action Agenda had industry recognition for facilities management as a profession as an overarching objective, with 20 identified Action Steps that outlined the action plan.
WinterComms worked in closely with the Platform Working Groups, the Communication Group, the Implementation Board and the Secretariat to gather, collate and edit the information required to form the basis of the Annual Report to government and industry.

FM Exemplar: Sydney Opera House Reports
As part of the FM Action Agenda, the FM Exemplar Project: Sydney Opera House saw a two-year collaborative process led by Stephen Ballesty of Rider Levett Bucknall (formerly Rider Hunt), involving government, industry, research and academia deliver leading research results for industry under the project management of CRC for Construction Innovation.
FM as a business enabler: Solutions for managing the built environment publication was a major outcome of the project and WinterComms are proud to have been involved in dealing with all the parties and stakeholders in the provision, editing and review of its content.

Adopting BIM for facilities management is the second report to be developed from the Sydney Opera House: FM Exemplar project series. It provides a comprehensive overview of the digital modeling research stream of the project lead by John Mitchell, principal of the consulting company CQR Pty Ltd and consultant to Construction Innovation's research partner CSIRO.
WinterComms edited the comprehensive research document in collaboration with John Mitchell and Colleen Foelz from CRC for Construction Innovation.

FM Action Agenda Website (2005 - 2008)
The FM Action Agenda was an Australia Government - Facilities Management industry initiative designed to promote the recognition and growth of Facilities Management as a profession and as an industry, ending its tenure in August 2008.
One of the Action steps identified was the development of the FM Action Agenda web portal, which WinterComms designed, developed and maintained until the end of the FM Action Agenda's tenure in August 2008.
